Stormy Seas and Rainbows

I took this picture while on a run in Adelaide. My mind was focused on the run and for a long time, all I noticed was the stormy sea.

But, when I stopped for a rest and lifted my head, I suddenly saw the rainbow.

The stormy sea. A picture of turbulence and trial. 

It was all I noticed until I lifted my head.

But then the rainbow. A picture of God’s faithfulness and a reminder of His promises.

The rainbow over the stormy seas. 

God’s faithfulness is always positioned over our stormy seas.

I want to learn to stop running, look up, and look for His faithfulness. I want to lift my eyes and see the rainbows above the stormy seas.
